Week 33:CST 334 Week 8: Final week & Persistence

8 weeks ago, I wasn’t sure what to expect of this course, but as we reach the end, I can say it has been both challenging and rewarding. This week, we explored persistence and its implications. This concept underscores how operating systems reliably manage long-term data storage, ensuring it remains accessible and intact despite crashes or restarts. Learning how persistence works at the system level has deepened my appreciation for the complexity of modern operating systems and their ability to provide stable, durable storage.
On a personal level, as I reflect on my journey through CST 334. Completing this course required the same qualities of persistence—continuing forward despite challenges and moments of uncertainty. This course has pushed me to grow as a learner and problem-solver. Looking back, I’m proud of the progress I’ve made and grateful for the experience. As I finish this final week, I now carry a deeper understanding of operating systems while feeling excited to keep learning more.... Until next course...
